Life Beyond Death

An ongoing inquiry into purpose of death,
the nature of life after death,
how we can prepare for death,
and how we can assist the dying.

Acknowledgments

With gratitude, I wish to acknowledge Maharishi Mahesh Yogi who taught me meditation, through which I have discovered my own intuition and inner vision.

And, I want to acknowledge Kay, who persistently showed me that there is no death, until I finally got it.

Also, Saniel and Linda Bonder, who helped me to discover confidence in my awakening.

Also, Dale Borglum, founder and director of The Living/Dying Project in San Francisco, dedicated to serving the living and the dying in the face of life-threatening illness. Dale has been a teacher and mentor in my own mission to be of service to the dying.

And I want to acknowledge my clients who, during my work as a volunteer with Hospice, shared their personal lives and deaths with me in a most personal and genuine way.

Many of the ideas for this book were inspired by the sage and spiritual master Barry Long, and in particular, his book Only Fear Dies. Barry spoke frequently about death and dedicated himself to healing our collective fear and denial. His work stands out as a beacon of light for all of us in this regard.

Likewise, Max Heindel was a pioneer in the study of death. His book, The Light Beyond Death, offers valuable insights regarding the stages of death and proper treatment of the body.

In addition, the following books have been important resources of knowledge and wisdom about death.
